Have you tried Social Security Disability? If you worked at least 5 years and had Social Security taken out of you're checks, you should call them. You have to be completely disabled and unable to work for at least one year to apply. Call your local SS office ASAP and get the ball rolling.
If you are not eligible for Social Security, then try your local Department of Human Services. Most states have programs that can help. You have to go to their office to apply.
