Fainting four times in a row! Help?!

Question: I just got back from a concert, where it was very hot.
The abbreviated story:

I faint once. I get up, insist I'm okay, sit for a few minutes, and then proceed to walk out of the auditorium.
Once standing outside, I proceed to faint again. Then I sit down, and faint again. And I think I fainted another time somewhere in there.

I'm not sure if that's in the right order, but I'm pretty sure it was something like that. I wasn't "fully there" at the time obviously, so it's all kind of blurry.

It was very hot in the auditorium.
I hadn't eaten in something like 10 hours.

What could be a reason for this? Is it anything serious?

Not eating for that long alone can make people feel really weak, lightheaded and faint. Combine that with the heat and dehydration of being in a room with no ventialtion and probably dancing and exerting yourself its no wonder you fainted. Your body was probably serverly depleated of water and nutrients. And the fact that concerts themselves can be quite overwhelming! I wouldnt worry about this, as long as you replaced your fluids and eat regulary it shoudl not happen again. Next time you go to a place like that, eat first and drink a lot of water. If these fainting episodes happen again, and you have been eating and drinking right, then i would consult a doctor. If this has never happened before, i would put it down to the above factors - it will be nothing to worry about! Hope you had fun at the concert anyway!

Anemia or dehydration

ok so starvation can make you stagger or fade out(happened to me) or its just simply dehydration!

also when its really hot for me i can get really dizzy and faint or have a headache...if you are unsure please go to a doctor

p.s. remeber to wear a hat next time!-optional!

one of the main reason of such type of fainting is postural hypotension. But you must know the correct reason, pl see a doctor immediately.

Not eating for 10 hours will definitely cause low blood sugar, and yes, fainting. Your brain needs sugar to function, if your sugar gets too low, you can faint, go into a coma, and die.

The heat inside the auditorium would definitely contribute to the problem.

Solution, you can get a Fasting Blood Glucose test to find out if you are hypoglycemic. If not, make sure you eat something at least every four hours.

low blood sugar combined with being too hot..next time try eating something and fanning your self...and make sure you aren't pregnant...
