What can the doctor do for a back sprain?!
Question: I did a stupid thing last night... We were having an ice storm here & I wanted to get a picture of the tree in the front of our house... It was beautiful & I didn't think the ice would be there in the a.m....
Anyway, I walked out in my slippers... Sorry, I took one step onto the steps at our front door & my feet went right out from under me & I hit each of the 3 concrete steps on my way down!

Anyway, my hubby has me laying flat on my back & he picked up a prescription of Vicoden for me tonight.
So, I just am wondering if anything else can be done for a sprained / wrenched back... if that's what it is!
Please, you can joke... but please be nice... I already know what I did was stupid & I'm already in enough pain!!

Yeah, next time you must wear ice skates when doing stuff like that silly! So go on to Academy and buy you some ice skates and a pretty pink tutu. Then you can take some pretty pictures to show me okay!

the doctor will get an xray to see if you fractured anything. does it hurt severely when you try to move around in any specific spot? do you have pain radiating anywhere when you try to move. take some naproxen/aleve, stay away from the narcotics unless a doctor actually prescribes it to you
