Major ear infection!!! Can you help?!

Question: Ugh... I have an ear infection in both ears. Inner I think. Does anyone know a method or product to help the pain? Is it normal to have a weird pain in your neck? It feels like I strained it, but I didn't. And could this lead to a tonsil removal?

oh sweety i hope u get better!

when i had an ear efection my mom always did this and it worked.

+ vegetable oil or any other cooking oil
+ cotton balls

put some oil in a pan let it get warm up then take it out of the hear get soem cotten balls and dip it in let set a bit not to HOT then put it on ur ear do this every so often and i tell ya u will be feeling better. u can do both ears its not harm.

good luck and get well

go to the doctor and get antibiotics. they should give you some ear drops too--the only thing that helped the pain for me was percocet.

Over the years I have ear infections many times . Ask your doctor for a refeal to the ENT Specialist. I have had both my Stapes removed and replaced by wire in Both ears.. I still get ear infections but an OTOMIZE Ear Spray help.. I think it is only available by prescription.

there are some over the counter homeopathic ear drops that ease the pain of ear infections. I don't remember the brand name (maybe hylands). but the come in a dark brown bottle with an orange lid. at walmart they are with the ear plugs, ear wax removal systems & eye drops. and the neck pain can be from the ear infection.

but also see a doctor.

i used to have ear infections as a kid all the time i found that laying on a hot water bottle would really help with the pain take some painkillers as well but go see your doc you might need some antibiotics

You don't have an inner ear infection. You'd be completely unable to hear if you did. You have a middle ear infection. And you need to go see a doctor before you permanently damage your ear drum or ossicles.

Antibiotics should make it feel better very quickly. Go to your doc!
