Odd aches?!

Question: After playing a little flag football and colliding a few times, I have weird pains every time I exert more-than-normal on my shins such as when I climb steps, etc. I hurts like a bruise, but there is no visible markings. Doesn't hurt a lot, just bothers me a little because I don't know why. Anyone else know?

Also, the base of by big toe hurts a little whenever I put pressure on it.

sounds like it could be shin splints - the toe could just have been overextended....nothing that time won't work out.

it could be bruised but it would b good to see doc and find out for sure that somehting isn't cracked or somethign really bad happened.

The shin pain I'm familiar with. Year ago aerobics got me shin splints. You can apply Icy-Hot but you have to have it with you when they act up. The right shoes and supportive socks are more helpful and also not repeating the same physical action is important. Over time it will lessen, but I can tell you that periodically I still have mild pain and I have not done aerobics in more than 15 years. Its the repetitive action that causes the flare ups.

Sounds like possibly shin splints. They heal with time and rest. Maybe the toe was overextended?

exercise put your base of your heel as close to the wall as possible with your toes facing up and move your whole body towards the wall it stretches everythingin the back of your legsand the bottom of your feet
