It's a lymph node. They're actually located all throughout your body. Those particular ones get sore and swollen when your throat starts to hurt.

Cancer

it could be your glands and if they are swolen it means your sick

Swollen lymph node. It's usually an early sign of infection, so you might want to stop by the doctor's office just in case.

This is a lymph node and if you have not had a cold recently and its not tender to the touch see your doctor.

I'm not sure what ti si called, but it is normal; a part of your body. Everyone has it, even me. It tends wo swell up and hurt when you have a cold, and I can feel it when i am swallowing and stuff when I am sick..but that's natural, just a symptom of a cold.
