The recommended dose for Advil PM is two pills at bed time and two pills contains 400 mg of ibuprofen and 76 mg of diphenhydramine citrate. The diphenhydramine is an antihistamine like whats in benadryl. That's the part that makes you sleepy. It says you should not take more than 2 in a 24 hour period. You were not just getting Ibuprofen when this happened. You should go to a doctor and get checked out and have blood work done.

Also what your Friend did might have seemed funny but it would have been a different story if you never woke up. People tend to forget or don't know that OTC medication can be just as dangerous as other meds if not taking properly.

I hope you feel better soon.

If it has been two days then you should be fine. Call poison control and they can tell you for sure.

Yes, it is. Call poison control. They won't send an ambulence or call 911 or anything unless it's an emergency. These are great medical professionals, I've spoken to them many times for my medicine related problems.

I think you need to go to your doc. As for your friend well that is stupid not funny and I don't know if I would even consider them a friend any more!!!!!!! I do believe the daily limit is 8 so 10 all at once? What in the **** was the friend thinking?

I would go to the doctor to have blood work done to make sure there was no damage done to my kidneys. Tell them what happened. Recommended doses are on the labels for reasons.

go call poision control or go to a doctor just in case
