How should I handle my Doctor?!

Question: Okay i broke my finger last saturday. I went into the doctors on tuesday....and they told me that i had to go take x-rays on my finger. So i got the x-rays done then they told me that they couldnt see the break in my finger so i needed to get it rapped up....On wed i got it all rapped up. the nurse told me that it wasnt broken and that it was hard to get ahold of me. when she called me one time left a voicemail and then i call the doctors office back not even 5 mins later. The nurse was just being so rude. Should i say something to me doctor or just look for a different doctor? I dont know what i should do....now i have to take more x-rays done next thurdays and then i wont even find out if its reallie broken until tuesday the following week.

I would definitely say something to the doctor. You are the customer in this relationship! It wasn't the doctor that was rude. If you do however feel that the doctor does not seem concerned, seek another. I recently broke a bone in my shoulder. My primary doctor told me it was not broken. I decided to seek another opinion from another doctor. My second doctor found the break immediately. Don't worry about hurting someone's feeling's. You are the customer. You pay for their services, not the other way around! Good Luck!

u really should take another opinion. u can't just wait like this and if it is broken u need early treatment.

Dont i reapeat plz dont go to that doctor a gain if your finger is broken it can get worse if it is not treated . u should go to a differnt doctor from now on such doctors are not that good

i would tell the Dr and then get a 2nd opinion and then switch Dr

The doctor deserves to be told about this--he may be entirely in the dark about all this and wondering why he is losing patients. After you discuss your concerns, see how he responds & then decide what to do. If the finger is not out of alignment, waiting will not change treatment at this point. They will either pin it or wrap/splint it (they do not cast fingers).
