What is happening inside our head to cause a headache?!
Question: The blood vessels become engorged, causing enlargement of the vessels thereby equalling pressure, which in turn results in our/us feeling the tense/pressure equalling head_ache....Keep in mind that our cranium(skull) is fixated leaving little to no more for expansion...the cranium is designed to 'protect' our soft brain which sets within the cranium 'protected'...Which explains 'why' severe head-injuries resulting in fluid/bleeding etc...requires meticulate intervention/observation....'cause as the swelling &/or accumulation of blood releases into the area (of the brain) requires boring of holes into the cranium(skull) to release the build_up of pressure, which can be either life_threatening OR life_saving...

I really have no idea, but in a Brain freeze, the top of your mouth it gets cold witch buts you membranes in shock. Instead of going in it goes out and stays for a few secs.
To get rid of these. Try to stick your thumb on the roof of your mouth, and look! No more brain freeze!
