Strange abdominal pains?!

Question: let me first start out saying that, i dont have acid reflux (i have had an endoscopy to prove it), i had my gallbladder and appendix removed. ok, now i have an appointment with my doctor on monday, but until then...i have been having a constant upper right quadrant abdominal pain for over a week, the best way for me to describe the pain is an achy, burning, crampy feeling. the pain is worse when i am laying down flat or standing straight up...the pain is less intense if i am in a sitting position and even more less intense if i am hugging my knees. the pain does intensifiy at times to the point where i am doubled over but i cannot seem to make a connection with the pain intensifiying and what i am doing.

does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Peritonitis-It is an inflammation of the peritoneum which is a thin membrane that lines the abdominal walls. You could have an infection due to the ectomy (removal of organs). You may also have scar tissue from the surgeries as well. Although the gallbladder or the appendix are not major organs they do play apart in the eliminations of certain acidic properties during the digestiive processes

A little embarrassing but I had the same thing and the doctor told me I was just full of s***!! LOL! That's the joke I tell now.

I had all these tests done just like you. I was panicked out of my mind and spending big money to find the answer to the condition I was experiencing.

One of the last tests was an an x-ray done by the gastroenterologist. Turns out I just had a large amount of waste accumulation and he put me on an over-the-counter fiber supplement/laxative.

Self-care is the best prevention of this problem. Just eat more of a balanced diet. You'll feel better soon...and the best news is NO, you're not dying!
