Question: i have a scar on my hand from getting a plate put in from a broken bone and some times it will be red i was told that it means my blood sugar is to high is this true can u really tell from that

I've never heard of that, sometimes they just go red because of heat or stress put on them, dont worry to much, but if it gets really annoying, visit the doctors, Goodluck!
Yes, I have the same kind of scar from where i had screws put into my middle metacarpal, and form all that sacr tissue, your blood veins are more visible, and when they are swelled up from high pressure, it really shows.
i think that is untrue....i work at a hospital and we get alotta diabetics.....and diabetics who have gotten surgeries..... i have never been told that the reddening of scars indicates high blood sugar........or seen that......
