Would you let someone who went to community college give you health care?!

Question: Or would you opt out for a real professional?

Answers: Or would you opt out for a real professional?

Only when I am in a nursing home and too senile to know where I am.

yes definitely. They ahve actually very high standards. there is massive on the job training. sometimes a community college just deletes is the humanities from their program and focuses on the profession.

You have picked up some serious misinformation about this field. Here is the truth about health care professionals.

The RN licensure is achieved through

ADN--Associate Degree Nurse programs, diploma programs, or the BSN--Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

ALL graduates of those programs must pass the IDENTICAL licensure exam.
The clinical hours are the SAME.
In fact, the community colleges tend to focus on patient care as do the diploma programs and the university programs tend to emphasize community health.
So, sorry, ALL RNs ARE professionals.

The same credentialing process occurs with the tech positions that can be earned through a community college.
If you sit down with the courses for both ADN and BSN programs you'll see your university graduate FILLS his "extra" time with things like "Women's Studies" and courses in "Multicultural Issues."
