Heartburn caused by Rockstars?!
Question: Every morning I drink a rockstar...okay 2 rockstars. And by mid morning I have excessive heartburn. I know the logical answer is to stop drinking the Rockstars. But I am not that intelligent nor do I have the will power. I guess the actual question is what is in the Rockstar to make me have heartburn. Is it a specific supplement or vitamin that's causing it.

The following from "Rockstar" can give heartburn:
Carbonated Water, Fruit Juice Concentrates, Sucrose, Taurine, Citric Acid, Tartaric Acid, Benzoic Acid, Pectin, Caffeine, Sorbic Acid, Niacinamide, Sucralose, Hydrochloride.
That is aproximately 67% of the ingredients that cause or can cause heartburn. Please stop drinking it.
Chronic heartburn (GERD; gastroesophageal reflux disease) can turn to Barrett's Esophagitis which can lead to cancer of the esophagus.

i use to drink at least one a day if not two. my dr. told me flat out to STOP drinking them, they are horrible for you for so many reasons. since i have stopped drinking them (7mo) i have felt so much better, and i can sleep at night and no other issues that came from drinking them.
i hope you feel better, i know they are a glorious drink but they really do more harm than good :-(
I bet it could be from the carbonated water or could be the flavoring?
when i drink mroe than one energy drink, i have track practice everyday, i cannot run. rockstars make your heart beat faster. your heart might notbe able to handle it and therefore causes you to feel heartburn.

hahah well, ive drinkin like, a third of a bottle and started shaking! i wouldnt be surprised if it was the rockstar! try to ween yourself off of it little at a time!
