Omega-3 essential fatty acids are important for healthy nervous systems, cholesterol levels, brain function and can reduce skin inflammation. Fish is excellent as it supplies both protein, and the omega 3 fatty acids, which are believed to contribute to skin health. You can also get omega-3 essential fatty acids from walnuts or flax. Besides that, I prefer to take the complete Omega 3 in liquid form such as Cod Liver Oil with lemon --high in vitamin A (by Carlson). The taste is not pleasing so I sometimes take it with orange juice or just water mixed with squeezed lemon.
