Iam 42 & lips feel very hot sometimes , a sensation, what is...?!
Question: at age 42 i notice many new weird things, i think its pre menopause.
hot flashes, headaches, 2 periods a month now and then, less patience, more neck aches..lol.
can the heat in my lips sensation mean something else?
i have to keep chapstick on them all the time now, but they look normal.

I sympathise with the symptoms but you just have to sieze the opportunity to change your nickname to Hotlips.
It could be something as simple as a slight allergic reaction to something. Maybe to the pesticide in the skin of fruits or veggies? Or sulfites in wine?
If it is menopause related just keep a travel mug of ice or an iced drink nearby to cool them off. I think that chapstick might 'seal in' the heat though. I would just use a light coat of lip gloss or vaseline.
Do you get cold sores ever? Might be prodromal sign.
Otherwise, it sounds like you've answered your own question.
You might want to check your hormone levels thru MD.
For hot flashes try Progest cream, rub on wrist.
Also try Vit B100 complex (good for nerves
Black Cohosh; Wild yams; Evening Primrose Oil; Omega 3 fish oils 1000mg 3X/day.
For headaches & neck pain try ice packs on back of neck & Advil or Aleve.
