Ear infection Question.?!

Question: I recently returned to the doctor about my inner ear infection. I also have severe Vertigo with it and a loss of hearing. I have a few questions.

1. My doctor told me that if I have any worsening of Vertigo, accelerating headache, or new neurological symptoms that I should go to the Emergency Room. I wasnt that sure why.

2. Has anyone taken Darvon. My doctor prescribed it for pain but I am afraid to take it because the internet said it was related to Tylenol and I am allergic to Tylenol.

3. I have had a minor headache since last night would that count as an accelerating headache or no? Just curious.

4. What would they do to me when I got to the hospital if indeed I did need to go?

THANKS A BUNCH.

1. I am not sure why, but it could mean the ear infection is getting worse in a way that could permentantly damage your hearing. it could also affect other parts of you

2. Ask your doctor, they can reassure you if its ok to take, tell them about your allergy and if they know about it still double check. its good not to take risks.

3. I would also call your doctor about the headache, especially if it persists or gets worse. once again, best not to risk it.

4. It depends on the answear to number one, sorry i dont know exatcly, it could need a new presciption.

Feel better :)
