I've lost the feeing in my toes, how do I get it back???!


Question: I went to a semi-formal party last night, and decided (like a dummy) to break in a really cute pair of gold heels. I was standing in those things for SIX HOURS. When I got home last night, I couldn't feel my toes, but I figured that it would go away by morning. Well, it's morning, and I still can't feel my toes, OR the balls of my feet.

How do I get the feeling back? My toes will be alright, right? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Just give it some time. Your feet are going to be sore for a while. You can try the things above, hot water, moving them around, etc. If you can walk around now, they should start to feel better soon. I highly doubt you did any sort of permanent damage to your feet, but if they are still bothering you by tomorrow, or if you notice they are starting to turn either black, really white, or blueish, you might want to go see a doctor.

Sit on a chair and keep on flexing your toes up and down, until the the feeling comes back. What you did was cut off the circulation because of your shoes. That should do it!

I would take a long hot bath and maybe the hot water will help your feet to feel normal again.

if it is not swollen then it sounds like you arent getting blood to get
walking might help
if it doesnt help or if it turns black see a doc
