How to get "carmex" out of an eye?!
Question: My 3 yr old daughter rub "carmex" on her eyelids like you would eyeshadow. I don't think any went into her eyes, but my concern is that the person it belonged to, currently has a cold sore on her lips!!! Should I panic? Do I need to take her to the Dr? Am I over reacting?

i would use a little talc. i think the worst that could happen is like when your sunscreen leaks into your eyes through your eye lids.
as far as infection, i would keep an eye on it and if it gets red, check with the doctor.
the funny thing is, a lot of people actually use it on their eyelids! (like vaseline).
