Sounds like a pulled muscle or ligament between your ribs. I think it's common in growing young folks.

Take anti-inflammatory Motrin, or something like it, several times during the day for a few days, even if it's not hurting.

Once it is healed, then exercise to increase strength in those muscles.

Good luck

What were you doing when it occurred? If you were exercising, you may have pulled a muscle. If not, then it may be something else. Either way, you should go to see a doctor.

ithink its a pulled muscle.. i feel sorry dear ,,
i hope ull get well soon .. :D

Possible to you pulled a internal or external intercostal muscle. These muscles are part of your ribs. If its pain in your back ribs it could be your superior and inferior seratus posterior. If it continues I would go and have physical therapy check it out or see a chiropractor. You may have a slipped rib and it may require adjustment.
