Why does my chest feel tight?!

Question: Yesterday and today, I feel like my chest is tight. I don't have chest pains, just this tightening feeling. Its more on my right side. I can take a deep breath with no problem. I'm not coughing and other than this tightness feeling, I feel fine. Is it possible that I pulled a muscle in my chest? I was leaned forward a bit driving to the city while I was sitting in the middle of the backseat of my father's car. I don't have asthma either....Does anyone know what this could be? Any suggestions to help this go away? Thank you.

You have simply pulled a lung
Nothing to worry about and its not what youthink
"pulled a lung!!! OMG IM GONNA DIE"
no your not going to die
just regulr exercising should make it go away and keep breathing and eatng..drinking as normal as before and you should be fine but if you dont carry on as normal then you must do some streching exercises weith your chest like leaning back
or else the pain may start to come through and you may develop a collasped lung but this takes time so dont ge too worried
just contact your local pharmacy o doctor and they will tell you in more detail
hope i helped

Maybe you're developing asthma? People in my family get asthma in their 20's.

Well I don't know a lot about medicine, but I had something similar that actually got really bad, and I ended up being taken to hospital where the first thing they did was give me Gaviscon! And funily enough, it actually worked! Give it a go, you never know. It could be that you've just pulled a muscle, maybe try some Ibuprofen, either way if you get particularly worried about it, or it doesn't go away I'd definitely suggest you see a doctor. Good luck

you might be developing asthma, those are the signs of asthma and if this continues see a doctor and be sure to let ur parents know about it so they can keep and eye on it cause having asthma is serious...i should kno i have it..it sucks!! feel better
