Sinus problems, can someone help please?!

Question: Ok, I thought it was dental problems but my oral surgeron said it was sinuses. I have had a couple of dental absecces and taken care of them but my gums are swollen and sore. I have extreme pain and pressure behind my right eye that sometimes extends to my head. I have dizziness at times and have been very tired. I have been on antibiotics 7 times in the past 9 months for dental problems so I am afraid I am becoming immune to them, I see an ENT Tuesday. What will he do and what do you think this is and how can it be treated. Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with this or not but I have a little knot on the left side of my forehead about half an inch above my eyebrow. It has grown in the past year or so, it does not move and you can't see it when you look at me, could this have anything to do with sinuses and should I ask the ENT about it, I feel kinda stupid bringing it to his attention since he probably won't know, but should I anyway? Thanks for all your help!

Sinuses can cause a lot of pain behind the eyes , across the nose and under each eye. Across the forehead and it drains down the back of your throat leaving a nasty taste. I had it so bad one year it caused me to have vertigo. I was working and kept putting off going to the doctor. When I laid down at night the bed would spin around and around. That is when my doctor sent me to a ENT doctor. He took X-rays and gave me some Flonase and some exercise to help with the vertigo and antibiotics. But be sure to tell the doctor everything. Don't leave anything out. It sounds as if you have had more than your share of pain.

My father-in-law flushes his sinuses with salt water. I know it sounds gross, but he swears by it. Good luck

Ask the ENT MD about the bump on the side of your head & about taste in your mouth. (That may be from indigestion...regurgitation from your stomach. GERD. Try Tums, Rolaids.) & all the dental absesses you had.
The ENT MD will examine your nose, your ears, your throat. He may clean your ears & may put an instrument down your nose to check your sinuses & throat. Don't worry they numb your nostrils & you don't really feel anything.

Good luck
