I had a x-ray of my right ankle as its been causing sever pain especially at nig!

Question: findings of x-ray.....
Ankle mortise is intact. There is presence of os sub-tibiale. Solid periosteal reaction seen of the distal tibia a the level of he interosseous membrane attachment. No acute fracture. No intra-osseous bony lessions... I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ALL THIS STUFF MEANS IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME SOME HELP/ANSWERS THAT WOULD BE GREAT...

Basically you have some extra bone growth at the far end of the larger leg bone next to the ankle.
That would explain your having pain.
My guess is that they will want to do surgery to correct this.
*ankle mortise intact: the ankle isn't dislocated
*periosteal reaction: formation of new bone due to injury or other cause
*distal tibia: the end of the tibia (larger leg bone) closest to the foot
*os subtibiale: a bone in the ankle that some people have and some people don't. You have it. It's not abnormal, but when looking at your ankle, the dr. wants to know whether you have one or not.

I think it means it swollen and sprained, but not broken but that is sooo not somthing that they teach you in Paramedic school at this level

usually when you have xrays you take them to the doctor
who referred you to go in the first place
and if he didnt i suggest you make an appointment and get him to explain it to you
you may need medication , in the mean time do what i do
if i dont know i type the word in to a google search for an answer
