I had the same problem. Your kidneys are dry drink more water. Mine too when I laid down.

I would get it checked by a doctor if it continues to bother you -but sounds to me like a Hiatal hernia or maybe a stomach ulcer. ( both very treatable ) but i would get it checked out! Hope you feel better soon!
which side of the stomach hurts the most? I am not a doctor, but I have lived a good life full of home remedies. If it is on your left side, chances are that you are constipated and need to drink a lot of water and have fiber, lots of it. Also, you might be having kidney problems. Please see a doctor immediately don't wait because your system might shutdown. I know of a young lady too that had the same problem and it was because she did not drink enough water and ended up on the emergency hall because of it. God bless.
on what side? If it's more on your right it could be your Gallbladder. I had pain for months(almost a year) they gave meds for an ulcer then after an ultra sound (many, many months later) on monday a consult on wed I had surgery on Fri AM and not a minute too late. They were worried about my Pancreas. Get checked out!
