My back really hurts!!!!>????!
Question: It started on Thursday at softball practice. It really really really hurts and I feel like I am being a ********* to everyone because of it. But anyway what happened was it was just like in flaming pain then I tried to throw this girl out at third and in the process I killed my back!!! It hurt so bad that I like jogged away in screaming loud crying pain. I rarely cry like that when it comes to injures. I could not sit up. My coach told me to lay flat and it did not hurt as much. But what could be the problem because it still hurts today and it worries me????

It's probably a herniated disc - I got that.
Go and get this book: "Treat your own back" by Robin McKenzie. It'll tell you step by step, day by day, and week by week what to do, what should be happening with the pain, what's normal during the course of treatment, and what isn't.
I went through everything but surgery - and THIS really helped.

If this hasn't improved since Thursday night, you need to be evaluated. It could be a simlple sprain or strain, but it could also be more serious. Regardless you need some treatment ease the pain & to prevent it from occurrring again...See your doctor or get in to Convenient Care..
