My toenail is falling off.......!?!
Question: i somehow managed to crack both my big toe nails from wearing a pair of high heels for too long and then bending my toes to stretch them. they have now cracked right the way up and will fall off soon! what should i do? should i cover them, and if so with what? is it best to wait for them to fall off or should i pull it off?? thanks

Well, this has happened to me once actually. It wasn't cracked, but it was falling off. I put a band-aid on it for three months, until the new toenail grew back in. Then, gently, I pulled the dead, falling toenail off. Hope this helps!
it's best to let them fall off naturally. protect your toenails, and soon they will loosen up and come off. at one point you can probably assist the removal by tugging on them gently. they will begin to re-grow immediately-- slowly though.
