Unlucky, Iv had a lot of similar unfortunate problems, then later, two operations! Physio gave me a few good ways to loosen that off,
No1, Put your hands on your buttocks, keep your hips straight and in line with your legs and gently lean back to curve your spine, don't push it, just go easy for a few repartition's. this is easy as you can do this anywhere.

No2, Put the back of 1 hand flat at the small of your back and the front of your other hand flat at the same level just under your belly button, keep the rest of your body and legs straight and gently rock your pelvis back and forth, you might like some privacy when doing this as looks a bit of a thrust!

No3, Lie on your stomach like your going to do a push up, keep your pelvis on the floor and using your ARMS ONLY, lift your torso up gently but do not force anything, do a few repartition's and on your last one, when you get to the top, hold then breathe out and you should feel the small of your back sink, this is not too strenuous but you may like to lie flat for a few seconds after this.

Best of luck, hope some of this helps.

stop wearing hi heels!

try a back heat pad that you stick on and can wear it all day ask your chemist good luck

Wheat bags are good for that as a temporary solution.

Ibuprofen is good too.

Then go and see a physio if it persists.

Hot water bottle, paracetemol, and rest. I have had this problem for over 20 years due to heavy lifting on the job. All you can do is take it easy, it goes away of it's own accord. Sometimes a glucosamine cream is helpful too. Don't let anyone talk you into going to a chiropractor as they are less than useless and expensive.

Lay flat on your back and bend your knees and bring them up toward your chest and hold for 5 seconds and repeat. It helps to stretch out your lower back muscles. You can also lay on your back, bend your knees and let them both drop to one side while keeping your torso in the flat position. Also, try not to sleep on your stomach. It is one of the worst positions for your lower back. IMO chiropractors are very helpful for back problems not requiring surgery. They are well trained in spinal muscles and bones.

get a ct scan sounds like a disc problem, stand your ground its your health some doctors will leave you suffering until you cant walk, I know as it happened to me.
good luck

If you have pain radiating down one of your legs, get to your doctor quickly as it could be a pinched nerve. If you have been lifting and doing things that could be the cause then it is probably temporary. Either way, I would strongly suggest you see your doctor.

I would suggest you ask your doctor if you can have some physical therapy. Whether a temporary pain from lifting, etc., or something else, the help of a good physical therapist can go a long way to aid your recovery. Your doctor can refer you to a good facility, but a diagnosis by your doctor and a referral is needed for insurance purposes. Make sure the therapist is a "hands-on" treatment style where they will assist you in moving, do massage, etc. Some will just watch you while you do all the work and that's not good. They need to check the muscles, joints and the movement or lack of movement in order to properly treat you. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
