The back left side of my throat is in extreme pain, and can barely swallow, what!

Question: If it's that bad, it could just well be strept again. It can feel different than the other time you had it. Go and get a culture, just in case.

go to the doctor. you might have strep throat.

you are encouraged to discuss with your family doctor.

It could be tonsillitis. I had that about a year ago to the point of where it hurt so much to swallow my on saliva, much less be able to speak. I had white patches on my tonsils and it was red. I was prescribed antibiotics and I felt better within a day.

Go to your doctor and see what they say. Last thing you want is it to get more worse.
