What's the best pain killer? ibuprofen?!
Question: My lower back hurts and I have a head ache. I've heard that acetaminophen can cause liver damage if you have too much or are exposed for too long. And aspirin is bad if you have stomach ulcers or internal bleeding as it thins your blood. What about ibuprofen?

You would have to be a chronic user of acetaminophen for it to be a lot of damage...
If you don't have ulcers or internal bleeding then I would use Advil. That is what works the best for me.
If you want to do things naturally....try a hot bath and then a heating pad in bed.
I have chronic back pain due to a herniated disc in the L5 vertebrae.
Ibuprofen is what I use! Works great :)

ibuprofen is great, works great but overuse can cause bleeding and ulcers just like aspirin. any medicine is ok used in moderation.
