Drug Testing...?!

Question: I have a paper bill from the lab cuz there was an issue with my insurance. They listed what they tested for and I am curious about something. Any info would help.
What is .......
- Ethanol test
- Tramadol test
- Toxic Screen (10 tests)
- Buprenorphine test
- Fentanyl & Metabolite (part 1 test)
- Fentanyl & Metabolite (part 2 test)

** why is there a part 1 & part 2 for the Fentanyl?**

Often even when people are using Fentanyl the preliminary screening test will be inconclusive, they will then confirm the toxicology screen with more specific gas chromatography/ mass spectrometry testing.

It is common for patients in pain managemnent clinics who are on pain contracts, to be subjected to random screening. This is necessary to protect patients from taking harmful combinations of both legal and illegal medications, and also to make sure the medications being prescribed are being used by the patient and not diverted for street sale.

ethanol: alcohol
tramadol: opium

they're individual tests.

They were testing you for the patches as well as oral. Damn!! Where do you work that they run a drug test like that.

Here is a real good link to WebMd's medical insurance help center. It should help you out.
