I'm so sleepy?!

Question: i'm tired all the time! i've already been to the doctor and gotten blood work done, everything was fine, no anemia or anything. i eat healthy, get a fair amount of exercise in, i'm not sick. it's been like this for months and my doctor doesn't know what it is or what to do. he gave me some medications that narcoleptic patients use, but it just made me shaky (still tired). i've tried caffeine, doesn't do a thing. i wake up around 1pm and take a nap from 3-7pm then go to sleep around 11pm... HELP!

I hear of a lot of that. Your doctor should refer you to a sleep specialist, or get a reference from a medical college in your vicinity. Don't stop trying until you find someone that can help. Also investigate the possibility of stress (although you may not feel stressed.) Very best to you.

Studies show that the average person needs about 8 hours of continuous sleep. If that's not enough, try increasing about a half hour at a time, until you feel rested.

maybe you should try some exercise or something.I'm sure it's a pworst thing but do it with patiently.

Lack of sleep....that's for sure....don't force your self to study hard....

Are you depressed or stressed out?

Works for me,get out of bed and go to a cold room e.g.bathroom for 5 mins,go back to bed and only think of the warmth again, snuggle up with a blank mind.

Well how much exercise is a fair amount, because even if your tired it`s important that you still exercise, it may be lack of exercise. If you have actually trouble sleeping that could be something such as Insomnia, but it sounds like you just don`t get enough of sleep. I think you should stop taking naps in the day it seems like they are tiring you out more! go to bed earlier and get up earlier waking up late, can cause you to be very drowsy. Eat well, go for runs in the morning, drink lots of water.

idk thanks for the 2 points
