Urine infection do i need tablets please?!

Question: ok i have a urine infection just started 2day the pain i went to boots the chemist and bought cystitis relief (Sodium citrate) solution you mix with water it says on the back take for 2 days,what i want to no is do i still need to go to the doctors and get tablets ??

I don't know much about bladder infections, but I do know you want to get to a doctor and get that thing knocked out ASAP. It is one of the worst pains you will experience. (There was an outbreak in my dorm way long ago. Much screaming and pain.)
