How can i get a kink out of my neck?!

Question: i slept on my side all night, and now in the morning i have a really painful kink in my neck, i can look left and right but it hurts for me to look up and down. I've tried getting it out with a hot stream of water jet from the shower head, and that didnt work. And i tried getting it out by myself and that didnt help either because i couldent feel the knot.

anyone have any suggestions?

Try this

get two old (without holes) socks, and two tennis balls.
If you've got a smaller neck than most you may want to try this with Racket balls

Place the two balls in one sock, then tie the sock as close to the balls as possible.

cut the excess

Put the knotted end first in the other sock and tie that off.

This you can use too place on/in your occipital area...( the area just under the little bump on the back of your head).
You can also place this on your cervical area..(on your neck)

Lay down on your back, placing this were you need the relief.
Applying heat prior to doing this will help it be more affective.
light massage , and then lightly stretch your neck.

If you get a volunteer (a pop) then good on ya!!! your on your way to being a great chiropractor. if not , and the pain persists then I would suggest massage therapist or chiropractor

give your boyfriend head .........lol

put a hot towel around your neck

go to the chiropractor would be the most reasonable answer

yeah, you can wet a towel and heat it in the microwave or a heating pad..it will give u relief, but the kink will eventually work itself out. Feel better soon :)
