Self Injury: Do I need to seek medical help for recent cuts on my leg?!

Question: I cut myself with a one bladed Bic razor about two or three days ago (please don't preach to me about the harm of self-injury or tell me to stop - I'm well aware of this and have been engaging in S.I. for eight years and am in cognitive behavioral therapy and on a couple drugs for my depression so I don't need anymore help there) on the inside of my lower leg. It bled quite a bit - but this I'm used to. It still seems to be oozing a clear uncolored or yellowish liquid though that tends to be sticky and attract fibers from my clothing. Is this safe? Is it okay for the fibers to get stuck there? I'm picking them out but off comes a scab-like material as well, so I don't know if I'm doing more harm than good. Sorry if this is gross, I'm pretty desensitized to it now but this has never really happened to me before, I usual scab and heal up pretty quickly. Any advice regarding this injury would be appreciated, thank you for reading. <3

First off *Hug* was it a new razer? I ask because I worry you may need a tetanus shot. It sounds like pus to me, wash it with alcohol (it will hurt!) then put a warm compress on it for like twenty minutes, dry it, then put neosporin on it and a band aid.

Put a band aid on that area. What it is, is puss. It comes from the scab and it helps to form the scab and make your leg heal faster. Put some neosporian on it too and just cover it up.
Don't give up on everything your doing to help yourself have a happier life and good luck with everything in the future :]

use some neosporin and cover it continue this and it should heal up..hope this helps.. <3

I would take a warm water (not warm, but more to the hotter side) shower on my leg, and clean the area out with soap and water first. Then, but some antibacterial cream (whichever one you have) and put it on. Wait for about two days. If the wound tends to keep getting worse, I would probably ask your parents (assuming ur still a teen or under 18), or just pay a quick visit to the doctor. Bye!

get it checked out by your gp incase it gets infection or is infected!
