Whats wrong with my wrist bone?!

Question: The bone on the right of my right wrist(palm down, Where your forearm connects to your hand) is noticeably higher then my left. There is only pain when I do a bicep curl. Is something wrong with it? Could I still be growing?

It's probably a ganglion cyst. Common in the wrist area at or near the joint. Bicep curls would aggravate it because your putting your tendons under tension causing them to bear down on the cyst. I doubt if you have a bone defect or a subluxation (dislocation). You would probably not be able to lift weights at all. If you had a fracture or chronic dislocations of the carpal bones you'd know it, you couldn't do everyday normal functions, the swelling & pain would be unbearable. In fact most carpal fractues/dislocations in adults have to be surgically repaired. Here is a link for more information, see if it resembles what you may have...

no. ur fine

Broken bone?

you are fine

pulled muscle.

cut ur wrist open them up and see

some people's bones are more "prominent" bony looking, if you are having pain, perhaps you are doing too many reps or too much weight or both, give your wrist a break and do a different type of bicep exercise, (pushups)

I have random wrist issues too. Mine are weak so I have to work them out a lot. So its probably just over exertion.

Get to a doctor. The bones in your wrist are very intricate, and delicate. If one is broken, out of place, or if you have any swollen tendons in that area, you're putting yourself at huge risk. The bones in the wrist are so tiny that if one is broken, it might not be a great pain at first. However, if not treated, it will heal improperly, and you'll certainly be feeling alot of pain later on.

it could be tendernitis, or a sprained wrist.

you broke ur bone...thats all
