After a car accident, how much more sore will I be in the morning?!

Question: It seemed like the dr at the hospital kept saying how much more sore I will be tomorrow... is that true? Because at this point I'm almost in tears as it is from my back, neck, and thigh where it hit the steering wheel.

It is common for back and neck injuries to increase in pain overnight or after a day or so. When I was in a car accident I walked away feeling fine but I was in a lot of pain the next day and had trouble moving, which they told me was pretty normal. Since you're already in so much pain I don't know if it will increase or just not get any better.

Sorry. Hope you got some painkillers. :(

I was in a bus crash this recently and all my pain came right during the wreck and about 2 days after the accident. I was more in shock than anything else because it was a school bus. When I came home, I felt 80% fine, but the next day I was sore. Neck and lower back especially.

God Bless.

Yes, if you really slammed when you either hit someone or they hit you, your muscles will be much more seized up.

Soak in a warm tub, take a hot shower. Be sure to take 2 Excedrin every 4 hours. Aspircream would improve the situation. Get a tube and gently spread it on the painful areas.

An Ice pack on your neck should help a lot.

Good Luck.

It Sounds like you are really screwed up by this problem. Hope you could get good luck here.chicago-car-accident-attorney.html
