If I only eat once a day and only sleep for 3 or 4 hours nightly?!

Question: How long will it take before I get sick or something like that. Don't ask why I am not hungry or tired. Just answer the question.

Get off the computer, eat something healthy and hearty, and take a nap. In all honesty, that's the first thing that comes to mind when I heard your case.

How long it takes for you to hurt yourself all depends on a greater number of factors than what you gave us. Your usual lifestyle, heredity, just you in general will all have to be taken into account.

At any rate it's not healthy. It may not be affecting you right at the moment, but in the long run it will. For one thing, you're not getting the nutrition you need. I refuse to believe that a mere diet of V8 and quesadillas provides enough nutrients for your body to function properly. So the first thing down, malnutrition.

Two, you NEED sleep. Sleep is when memories finally get the chance to tidy up and put themselves in a neat orderly fashion. So memory, not to mention sheer physical exhaustion would get to you in the end as well.

I'd assume something like dark circles under your eyes woud pop up...maybe be more irritable.

If you honestly can't get sleep, go see a doctor about it. They're more knowledgeable than us on here.

As for actual sickness, I don't know.
But within a week I think you'd probably start fainting from exertion due to lak of nutrition.

As long as you are eating foods that are good and not junk, and possibly take a multi vitamin to make up for what you are lacking in your meal, you should be fine.
The trick to not getting sick is washing your hands all the time!

you'll probly get increasingly tired esp. since your not eating either. i'd give it 2weeks

you'll eventually get really sick though. my friend never sleeps and she'll just randomly & suddenly get really sick.

Each person is different a numder of factors are involve. The quality of sleep you do get. The quality of what you eat. How active you are in general. Either way, your lifestyle is not healthy.

Are you having a manic episode? If you're bipolar, then you could be in mania. Most manic episodes will come to a crashing halt sending you into the opposite mood in about a month.
