Back Pains?!


Question: I'm 19 year old, 150 pounds, and 5'10. I've been experiencing frequent back pains for awhile now. I think it may be due to the fact that I slouch a lot everytime I sit and it's becoming a real bother. I can't stand for too long because it aches my back and a simple trip to the mall becomes hell because I have to frequently take a rest to sit. What home remedies or advices do you have?

The best thing you can do is go to a remedial massage therapist, is sounds like you have the start of upper crossed and lower crossed syndrome. The muscles of the back, shoulders pecs and glutes will all need to be treated to help with the pain and you need to learn some effective stretching techniques. There are plenty of techniques that will ease the pain for you, but management and education is the key to preventing more serious problems in the future like slipped discs, osteoarthritis and other conditions. go see a chiropractor. they can do wonders with back pain. Also do pilates, as it strenthens the core muscles and helps to prevent back pain.
