Really Upset, really pissed off, wanna cry. but what can i do??!


Question: i'm an emotional wreck and everything is going wrong.my dissertation is due tomorrow at 10.30am and my binding gets completed at 10 and is a 3 mile walk away :( secondly i did 75% of group work for one module at uni and the bastards only gave me 5% for the work i completed saying i did nothing! ive got to try see the tutor tomorrow, but dont know if he will be in, and if he is i know im such a wreck im afraid i'll burst into tears because of all this stress. im never emotional, now im struggling to hold back the tears. how can i see my tutor and not cry, any suggestions? i dont want to be seen as an emotional wimp. :( please please help! and dont say alcohol because im not goin for that lol.

Here's the thing: When we are in the middle of something huge either for career or study etc it seems so massive ad important. And if we f**k it up we think life is gonna be over.

Is there anything else you can do now to get your binding done earlier? Is there someone that can drive you ro be transported? If not, then you just have to force yourself to take really deep breaths. You've done everything you can do, whatever is going to happen will happen regardless of if you're crying or laughing.

The same kind of thing happened ot me a few years back. My printer broke at midnight before my thesis was due. I was hysterically driving around this city to find someone that could print off cd-rom...at the time no one would. In the end, I got it done a couple hours late and they were good enough to overlook it. This might or might not happen with you, but honestly the trauma and stress of it all just isn't worth it. I promise you life will go on.

In the meantime, do something that will make you laugh. Laughter really is the cure for stress. Go rent a movie or go to the cinema. Good luck.

Oh, Also, there's nothign wrong with crying. If you want to let it out, then it might release the pressure. A good bath might also help.

Find your positive outlet. A hobby, whatever keeps you in balance. Physical activities and fres air seem to do wonders for almost anyone. Even me. If that dont work, there is always percocet., lol

first things first...if you wanna cry then cry the worst thing you can do is stop yourself crying.
i would go speak to the tutor and tell them exactly how you feel.
