My lower calfs hurt.?!


Question: I've been going to the gym for a month now I run on the treadmill for 2 miles and do cardio after then weight train. It was fine for the first 3 weeks then the fourth week my lower calfs started hurting like crazy now I can't keep up with my friends on the treadmill. this sucks so much i cant even jump rope. any advice would be great thank you

they hurt because more than likely you are overtraining them. You shouldn't do the cardio everyday. Try cutting that down to 3 times a week. As for the calf muscle hurting try stretching them out before and after your workouts. They are knotting up because the muscle fibers and tensing up due to you not stretching enough. Also do your cardio after your workout. Cardio before weight training will kill any gains you hope to make.

i sugest going to the doctor and checking it out, thats nt normal, maybe you pulled a muscle or something...

You could have an injury - but you also could have compartment syndrome.

The injury needs a physical therapy - compartment syndrome needs a doctor.

are u a girl or guy? Girls on bc can get blood clots and pains in that area can be a symptom...

You should go to your doctor. It is most likely an injury due to your exercising, but you want to make sure you do not have a blood clot in your calf. They can rule that out with an Ultrasound!

seriously rest the legs for 4 days! If it doesnt get better go see the doctor.
