Belly ring?!?!?!
Question: Ok, I can handle pain pretty good, I just get nervous around needles... I REALLY want my belly button pierced! Those of you who know from experience, does it hurt and is it worth it?

I got the bottom part of mine pierced and I felt a heaviness in my belly button area when the needle went thru and then after she placed the ring in the only part that hurt was the disinfection. She sprayed the ring area with alcohol and then it hurt like a b****! It was tender when the alcohol burn went away and for like a week or so I couldn't lie on my stomach. I guess it depends on your pain tolerence. I didn't think it was that bad... I thought it might be but it's a cute little ring and I like it. Healed well. Make sure you clean it like they advise you to or else it'll scab and hurt.
it didnt hurt me but it will be different for everyone though yes it is worth it
I don't handle pain well at all and I have my belly pierced - it only hurt for a second (felt like a shot or an IV), and then it was over and the ring was in. For me, it was worth it.
Just a suggestion, if you do get it done, get a barbell right away, not a ring. There is less chance for an infection with a barbell compared to a ring.
it really didnt hurt. just felt like a regular ear piercing. but nothing to worry about. and so worth it!!!
