I got hit in the head yesterday.?!

Question: ok so at cheerleading i was basing a scorpion double down and my flyer didnt wrap and her wrist hit me in the head.

(in english that means i was holding a girl up in the air and when i threw her to catch her she was supposed to twist twice before i caught her and she did but she didnt bring her arms in the way she was supposed to so her wrist hit me in the head)

and i didnt think it was that bad a first.
the only thing that happened at first was i got a golf ball sized bump on my forehead above my right eyebrow which is red-ish, but as practice went on i began to get a bad headache.

during school today i was also dizzy, tired, and i still had a headache.

but heres the catch - im sick, and i have been since monday with a stomach ache, high fever of about 103.5, and a headache. so my headache has gotten worse since i got hit, but idk if its cause im sick or cause i got hit

anyone know what it might be??

I am sorry for your injury. It sounds like you have the 'flu right now and it is only cooincidence that you started showing the symptoms at this time when you were hit. However, any time you get a bump on the head and it actually raises a visible bump, you need to be seen by a Dr. Your headache will be worse with your illness and a bump that size! Sometimes these innocent sounding bumps can cause blood clots in the brain and all manner of horrible things that can lead to serious health problems. have your parents take you to the Dr or ER room and get that head looked at. They may also be able to give you some fluids via IV so that you don't dehydrate, and some medicine to help you with the sickness. Best of luck and don't wait! Go now!!! And post back on here to let us know how you are doing in a couple of weeks.

show off

You may have gotten a mild concussion. the fact that your sick doesn't help either, cuz your symptoms may be from one thing and you think its the other. did you lose consciousness, or can't remember when you were hit??? if so, i'd go get checked out. ice your goose egg too, it will help relieve the swelling.

You need to immediately go to an emergency room and describe your symptoms and the incident. You could have a serious brain concussion or be bleeding internally. Your symptoms are serious and your body is talking to you!!!!!
You need an MRI and other tests to determine what is going on and this is not something you should fool around with.....

First off having a temper that high can be very bad if it persist call the doctor could be an infection. Sounds like a mild concussion and you really shouldn't be at cheer leading practice rather resting. I hope you feel better, good luck with the squad =)

At 103 you should be going to the hospital. Brain damage occurs are 105.
