Sore from car accident?!
Question: I was taken from the scene on a backboard and all that jazz and taken to an urgent care center where the dr had me wiggle my toes and fingers and was like 'okay, you can come off that board' He didn't take any xrays or anything. I have really bad lower back pain (it's kinda bulging?!) and my shoulder hurts from the seat belt. It also hurts when I take a deep breath, certain movements will bring me to tears. I knew I would be sore, as the car was totaled and three cars were involved, but I just don't know if the doctor was thorough enough. He was in there for about 3 minutes, and I was saying I was having a panic attack and they actually took my anxiety meds out of my purse for me to take! Is it being overreactive that I set up another appointment with my pcp?

If you are in pain, you should definitely get checked out again! I don't think you would be overreacting at all. If nothing else it will reassure you that you will be ok.

See your regular doctor asap!! Make sure when you call them, you tell them what happened so they know you really shouldn't wait. At the very least, from the sound of it, you should have had xrays. The shoulder is probably a deep bruise - they are PAINFUL! But get the back checked out right away.
