Maybe its acid reflex
Try not laying down after you eat this can cause it
or being really active after you eat

You need to see a ENT doc and have them take a look with an endoscope.

If it was strep, you would have most likely have had other symptoms (fever, white mucus on your tonsils, extremely red throat, constant throat irritation with swallowing).

Your gallbladder is located below your liver and would have no relation to the type of problem your having.

A virus or contaminated food would display symptoms more along the lines of fever, nausea, fatigue, diarrhea, etc. You probably wouldn't feel pain in the throat to stomach area.

It may be a problem with your epiglottis, esophagus, stomach or duodenum. The problem could be neurological (increased or decreased peristalsis), mechanical (obstruction) or related to the secretions of any of the above (acid reflux included). Typically, acid reflux wouldn't result in epiglottic pain, but would cause esophageal pain.

It could be many things. You could have tonsillitis or some kind of throat infection. Why don't you see a doctor? That would really narrow this down.

I had a really nasty virus actually that did something similar. It made my throat swell up so much that I could barely breathe.
All I can say is go to the dr. Chances are that this won't get better by itself.
With my virus they put me on a 6 day taper Prednisone (which is actually a steroid).
It could very well be strep however in which case you would need to go to the dr to get antibiotics anyway.
I don't know that it would be a stomach virus though, unless your stomach is hurting a great deal. This sounds more like a throat thing from the way you're describing it. The fact that you're feeling like you want to throw up but can't could be the result of either pain or a reaction to a possible virus or strep.

As I am not a dr nor a medical professional (simply the daughter of a nurse.lol.) I can not diagnose you.
All I can safely tell you is to go to a dr. they can tell you what's going on.

Good luck and feel better : )

You need to see your doctor. Don't eat for at least 3 hours before bedtime. Prop up your head a little higher than usual. I don't think that this will get better without seeing a gastroenterologist.
