How do people like percoset for pain that you have had since11/19/04..???!

Question: Percocet is meant for acute pain, not chronic pain.

Answers: Percocet is meant for acute pain, not chronic pain.

I like it just fine. I've been in a pain management program for about 7 years and have used perk's as part of my treatment with great success for moderate pain.
I take hydrocodone and oxycodone everyday for a spine injury.

I agree with Jen. Percocet is NOT for protracted use. You don't mention what kind of pain you're having. Is it back pain? See a neurologist. It could be trapped, i.e., pinched nerves. Orthos are great, but they're surgeons and don't always think about nerves first. PT might help, or a site injection. Get checked out.

I personally Don't Like that Medication It Gave me Bad Headaches. But For others it was OK. But I thought it was meant for acute Pain , and Not Chronic Pain. hm mm , not sure

Never had it, they started me on Fentanyl Patches for chronic pain, prior to that it was Tylex. Best of Luck

I've used it effectively for nerve pain.
