What are you Asian!? Get off of your A S S and go for a run. Well i don't want you to have a heart attack start off slow and go for a crawl.
and i don't know anyone that can flex their thumb muscles...thats not right.

Yes it is possible for a 16 year old.. cause my boyfriend have it..

Yes, a child can have arthritis...and also carpal tunnel...

yes you can but it is very unlikely

hope i feel better anyways :]

Well...maybe some minor nerve damage...

I'm sure you could have done some sort of damage, I am not a doctor so I don't know the extent, so you should ask a doctor.

ANYONE CAN GET ARTHRITlS

yea

no but they can have car-pull tunnel (i spelt it wrong)

If he fell out of a tree

/facepalm

at 16 you should stop gaming and get some air...

if you are paranoid ask your mother to take you to the docs where they will remove your thumbs, baring you from ever playing video games so you can get some exercise

there is juvenile arthritis, but it sounds like you have carpal tunnel syndrome

could be rheumatoid arthritis which can affect any age

A doctor can help,so go and see one now.

Anyone can get it, Just go to the doctors and they will explain whatever it is that youve got :)

yes it is

It's most likely tendinitis and the best thing for it is REST! Physical therapy, NSAIDs and ice can help too, but rest is really the best way to stop the pain.

yes they can
im 13 and ive already had it
ur fine thought
if it gets really bad get it checked out

Anything can happen I've come to discover. I'm 14 and already have bunyons..

Yes! A 16 year old can have arthritis! However, What you have is Carpel Tunnel Syndrome! Google it!

Yes it is very possible. It is not common, but possible. You should go talk to your doctor, it might not be arthritis, it could be carpal tunnel or something else because of the popping noise. And if it is arthritis you need to get medication for it right away so it does not worsen, but there is no cure for arthritis so if you do have it, you will have it for the rest of your life and it will most likely worsen. I really hope you dont have it and it something that is fixable. Goodluck :)

Yes they can. I don't think you'd get it from gaming. You should have the doctor look at the hand. The popping sound isn't good. Neither is the pain. Give the hand a rest until you see the doc.

You sound as if you are developing tendonitis in your thumbs the answer is up to you...do you resist the marathon gaming for thumb and eye health or do you just ignore it? once you compromise your body in any way it will never be the same. so go outside get some fresh air, get off your bottom and do something or life will pass you by and all you will have to remember is sore thumbs

you might have trigger finger, Trigger finger and thumb are painful conditions that cause the fingers or thumb to catch or lock in a bent position. The problems often stem from inflammation of tendons located within a protective covering called the tendon sheath.

The affected tendons are tough, fibrous bands of tissue that connect the muscles of the forearm to your finger and thumb bones. Together, the tendons and muscles allow you to bend and extend your fingers and thumb, for example, as in making a fist.

A tendon usually glides quite easily through the tissue that covers it (also called a sheath) because of a lubricating membrane surrounding the joint called the synovium. Occasionally a tendon may become inflamed and swollen. When this happens, bending the finger or thumb may pull the inflamed portion through a narrowed tendon sheath, making it snap or pop.

Yes, juvenile arthritis.

Hi-

yes a 16 can get arthritis im afraid one of my friends has had it in her legs since the age of 13 and she is now 17.

im not sure if gaming can cause arthritis- i no it can cause a temporay pain in ur fingers and/or hands but if u try and cut down on using ur computer and ps3 im sure it will make ur hands better. i suggest you cut down to 1-2 hours on week days and 3 hours on weekends. BUT IF YOU CONTINUE TO DO GAMING FOR 4-5 HOURS FOR A LONG TIME YOU MAY GET ARTHRITIS OR A SIMILIAR CONDITION, SO PLEASE FOR UR BENIFIT AND HEALTH STOP GAMING SO MUCH- DO YOU KNOW THAT IT CAN ALSO CAUSE HEADACHES AND BAD EYES- YOU SHOULDENT BE LOOKING AT A SCREEN FOR THAT AMOUNT OF TIME IN ONE DAY- TAKE MY ADVICE AND REDUCE UR TIME ON IT. Hope this helps, xx

So what dose this say.. Think about It. You need to get out and hang with your Friends. Don't just sit in front of the PC or the TV and go. And yes you could have this , but Normally it happens when Older , and if you have had a injure there before. But Go see A Doctor , or use Ice or Heat to it A few Times A day and see if that Helps.
Good Luck.
