Weird chest pain centered on left side?!

Question: i know its not a heart attack or stoke because im too young for either but i have a family history of heart problems in my family,

heres my question, sometime i get a sharp pain on my left side of my chest but not by my heart, more by my breast bone,
sometime i also feel like my heart either skips a beat or has a weird rythem, because it feels not normal,

i eat a good diet, and try to exercise regualry, but i can get that feeling of the pain and the weird heart thing the same day then sometimes i feel great,

i have been having and watching this for a year or two and i don;t want to sound like a hipocondriac like my two aunts but when should i have this looked at?

There are many causes of chestAcne, cystic on the chest
Left heart ventricular angiography because it has the potential to be life-threatening. Once this is ruled out the work-up can proceed at a more leisurely pace.
Stable angina is chest pain or discomfort that typically occurs with activity or stress. The pain usually begins slowly and gets worse over the next few minutes before going away. It quickly goes away with medication or rest, but may happen again with additional activity or stress.
Stable angina is also called chronic angina. The most common symptom is chest pain that occurs behind the breastbone or slightly to the left. It may feel like tightness, heavy pressure, squeezing, or crushing pain. The pain may spread to shoulder, arm, jaw, neck, back, or other areas.
Some people say the pain feels like gas or indigestion.

As you can see the list of potential causes in long and may take a little bit of time to determine the precise cause. A good Internal Medicine doctor should be able to work through the potential causes of your symptoms.

Have it looked at even if it could not be serious, but there is still a chance that it could be something that could hurt or kill you, so get it checked out!

oooh check out a doctor could be breast cancer

it might be your working out too much
but idk, you should go2 the doctor

umm it could be colic..
does it hurt when you breathe in or out?

Just remember, YOU ARE NEVER TOO YOUNG TO HAVE A CARDIAC ISSUE!!! With any chest pain, you should seek at once. At one time I was a paramedic and saw many myocardial infarctions ( heart attacks) at many different ages. It could be nothing, but it could be something. Better be safe than sorry. My advice, get it checked!
