Sprained thumb`?!
Question: I dislocated my thumb in the past. I've injured both of them, sprained them. I did it again to my left one. I went to urgent care and I was in and out in 35 minutes. I loved it, so fast. But my thumb isn't dislocated. It was actually fine yesterday, I took the splint off, I put it back on at night, took it off again. But now I can tell that my thumb is pretty sore. The doctor there said to go to my hand specialist, just in case, because my thumb was numb and tingly. But should I still go? If I do, they are probably gonna cast it for 3 weeks, instead of using this tiny splint. It only hurts if I move it, so I dont. But should I still go to get it checked out? Casts are the most annoying things ever, but I know if I don't, it could heal wrong, or re-injure it again.

Yep I would go
You need a new approach, immobilization will not fix a sprain.
The biggest problem is the number of injuries to the same location over time, it is going to be a major hassle to fix those thumbs. Or you can live the rest of your life with out using them or suffering lots of pain?
