Question: have you ever tried to sprain your ankle on purpose??

any ideas on how i can?i want to sprain it goood enough so that i need cruchets!!

put it on a side facin in so dat the bone tuches floor den lift up other leg 4 dis 2 work dont put down your other leg till u hit the floor

its pretty easy

find a kind of height like ladders or a chair and step off it and turn your ankle when your about to land (warning it will hurt like hell)

Well, you could hit yourself with a hammer or make yourself fall down the stairs. Why the heck would you want to break your ankle? That's crazy! If you're trying to get out of doing something, why not just fake a stomach ache or something along those lines?

You don't want to injure yourself so that you need crutches. Trust me I've been on crutches many times for injuries that I couldn't control- you start to get a rash on your underarm area from the crutches rubbing on your skin, your arms get sore from maneuvering yourself around, and it's very tiring.

why do you have to go to all that trouble? surely you may cause more damage than you may expect! if you really have to do something cant you just fake it!
it can't possibly be worth doing it for real!

okay you do not want to sprain your ankel if your trying to get out of class or something. but if you really want to sprain your ankel, just jump off your stairs or run around crazy. it works. but it hurts.

Get really pissed and wear high heel shoes that's how i fractured my foot and was in crotchets for six weeks.
Just a warning it's not a laughing matter.

you really don't want to do anything like spain or break your ankle... first of all it hurts like hell and second.. it will cause you problems the rest of your life. I know it has happened to me.... ONce you sprain an ankle your ankle becomes week and you will have spains the rest of your life.... once you break your ankle you will have pain in that ankle for as long as you live. Not everyday but it will hurt off and on.... SO DON"T Do anything on purpose... plus crutches are a big pain in the butt and they hurt your arms and arm pit.....

i accidently sprained mine 2 months ago, it hurt!

I completely agree with everyone else... why would you want to inflict an ankle sprain on yourself?! They are relentless and will bug you for the rest of your life. I just had an MRI and am meeting with an ortho surgeon because of my complications from constantly spraining my ankle. It's not worth it. Can't think of any reason why you'd want to induce harm on yourself. People live in chronic pain and would do anything to get rid of it and you're trying to induce it on yourself purposely!
Think twice...

Make a stack of phonebooks, like three or four of them. Stand on them and then jump as high as you can while still landing on them. Its bound to happen sooner or later....

Also, If you ever play volleyball, move too far for a block, you'll come down hard on someone's foot. Its a sure sprainer. Almost all vball players eventually sprain their ankles from this.
