Tongue Piercings Swelling?!
Question: I got my tongue pierced on thursday and the girl that did it said my tongue would be really swollen friday,sat&sunday. But now it's saturday and it's still normal. Just wondering if thats normal and if it's still gonna swell up(hopefully not because I have classes/work monday) Does everyones tongue swell up?? Might sound stupid but I'm just wondering

I got my tongue pierced a couple of years ago and had experienced friends with large swollen tounges. I also had my piercer tell me that my tongue would swell up for the first 3 days, it's been about 5 years and my tongue never swelled up. I was expecting the worst but i have to say that I got the best not having to deal with a swollen tongue or any of the other bad things, so good luck and just thank God that you were one of the lucky one, because everyone is different and not everyones tongue swells.
its normal my cousins tongue never swelled up so your tongue is fine don't worry
If you're really worried about it suck on some ice chips or crushed ice. When I got my tongue pierced I went straight to the restaurant across the street and asked the waitress for a plain glass of ice and chewed on that until lunch came, never had a problem with any swelling.
