I burnt my arm...and the burn didn't blister but instead...?!

Question: it has gone really red and gone brown and crispy...the oven was at 200 degrees celcius. I have a slowed nerve reception from that arm, i feel everything a second or two after the pain should have occured due to nerve damage. It only hurt and stil hurts slightly. its a red oval with a weird brown patch which is growing bigger and its not scab- wrong colour and texture...has anyone got a clue why my burns gone funny? I did leave a bit of skin stuck in the oven, i looked lol. only the very top layer though.

It didn't blister because you burned it deeper than the superficial layer of your skin, if you are experiencing delayed sensation it is most likely because you went deeper to perhaps the third layer of skin. There isn't much you can do for it, don't pick at it, don't cover it. If it's still raw, you may want to put something like neosporin or vicks on it to keep it from getting infected, but don't cover it.

i think a doctor could tell you why. im no doctor, but that doesn't sound normal. you need to go to a doctor. now!

Awhile ago I burnt my arm on hot grease and it healed exactly the way you are describing. Now I can not even see where it was, eventually the brown skin just kept coming off in the shower and was gone to expose new pinker skin and now its not noticeable at all. I was sure when it happened it would blister but it didn't, so I don't think you have anything to worry about. Hope it heals up well for you.

Yeah, there's some nerve damage there. It may get better - the sensation part of it - but it takes a long time. And may never be 100 percent again. If this topic should come up around older people, men especially, they'll have places on their hands with no feeling from prior cuts and burns.
